CAT ART: Renowned Masterpieces for Cat Lovers

This is a humorous collection of “catty” paintings, which are parodies of 124 famous paintings from around the world. Shu Yamamoto, a self-identified cat/art lover, has transformed these masterpieces and, in doing so, has created a unique world based on his own insights into art and his love for cats. The paintings are presented in chronological order based on the original works, from Ancient, Medieval, Oriental, Renaissance, Impressionist and 20th Century Art. Readers will instantly recognize the masterpieces these “cat-sterpieces” are based on. The title, artist name, year and the owner of each original work is listed in the back of the book.
