Bibi is a crocodile with his mouth wide open. As soon as he noticed this, he couldn’t figure out how to close it. Bibi’s friends try to help him, but whatever they do, his mouth pops open again. With illustrations that combine cute characters and a soft touch, this picture book is filled with the charm of crocodiles.
Author
Hikaru Amemiya was born in Tokyo in 1994. She is a graduate of Musashino Art University Faculty of Art and Design majoring in Oil Painting. She also completed graduate studies at Musashino Art University Graduate School of Art and Design. After first visiting the Atagawa Tropical and Alligator Garden as a university student, Amemiya has been fascinated by crocodiles and continues to draw pictures of them. Since 2017, She has held a solo exhibition “Drawing Crocodiles” at the Caran d'Ache Boutique Ginza.
