“Japanese Cutting-edge Illustrators” fair, which introduces the latest Japanese illustrators who are essential for Japanese design culture, will be held at eslite Xinyi store in Taiwan from June 2nd 2020 to June 30th 2020. This time, we categorized the illustrators into four themes: “Mainstream”, “New Generation”, “Leading Figures”, and “One and Only” and open a virtual bookstore in Xinyi store that are specialized to those four themes. PIE International always desired to be “a bridge between fascinating culture and outstanding creators and the world.” This fair is realized with the cooperation of eslite Xinyi store and illustrators who sympathized with this desire. But unfortunately, due to the influence of the COVID-19, it is difficult for us to visit Taiwan, or even go out from our home. Therefore we created virtual background images for web conferences using four key visuals representing this fair so that everyone in Japan and the world can experience and enjoy the concept of the fair as much as possible. We hope these background images help you spend a happier time at home!
