日本のイラストレーションの最先端を堪能できる『台灣人認識日本插畫家的第一步』フェアが台湾の誠品書店 信義店に初上陸！
日本と台湾の文化の融合を目指す誠品生活 日本橋店で、
2019年9月に開催されたフェア『台灣人認識日本插畫家的第一步』。
このフェアが2020年6月2日（火）～6月30日（火）の期間中、台湾の誠品書店 信義店に初上陸いたします。
今回のフェアでは、日本のイラストレーションの最前線で活躍するイラストレーターたちを『百花繚乱』『新進気鋭』『万世不滅』『唯一無二』の 4 つのテーマに分類し、仮想書店としてオープンします。
信義店内では、各テーマに合わせたイラストレーターの書籍・グッズの販売を行い、
各仮想書店の特色から日本のイラストレーション文化を体感することができます。
PIE Internationalが展開する4つの仮想書店
百花繚乱-漫画・アニメ・ゲームの最前線-
日本が誇るマンガ・アニメ・ゲームの流れを組むイラストレーターを集めた仮想書店です。
マンガ家・アニメーターの画集からアニメの設定資料などを集めてあり、
日本の最新のイラストレーションの潮流を知ることができます。
*キービジュアル作家：Ilya Kuvshinov
ロシア出身、日本在住のイラストレーター。2016 年に初画集『MOMENTARY』（パイ インターナショナル）を発売。
2017 年から日本のアニメ業界に参加し、映画『バースデー・ワンダーランド』、『攻殻機動隊 SAC_2045』のキャラクターデザインなどを担当。
新進気鋭-SNSの新星-
主にSNS を中心に活躍し、若い世代を中心に支持を受けるイラストレーターを集めた仮想書店です。今後日本のイラストレーションを牽引する、新しい才能に出会うことができます。
*キービジュアル作家：Daisuke Richard
1994 年生まれ。滋賀県大津市出身。イラストレーター兼デザイナー。無類の下着好き。音楽、カレー、たらこ、アイスココア、メロンソーダも好き。書籍関連や企業・アーティストとのコラボグッズなどを中心に、滋賀を恋しく思いながら東京で活動中。
万世不滅-日本イラストレーションの源流-
何十年もクリエイターとして活躍し続け、若いイラストレーターに影響を与え続けてきた作家を集めた仮想書店です。日本イラストレーションの源流をここで知ることができます。
*キービジュアル作家：寺田克也
イラスト、マンガ、ゲーム・アニメーションのキャラクターデザイン等、活躍は多岐にわたる。著書に『西遊奇伝 大猿王』（集英社）、『寺田克也ココ10 年』『絵を描いて生きていく方法？』（パイ インターナショナル）ほか。
唯一無二-ファンタジーの世界観-
圧倒的なオリジナリティと世界観を持つ新しいイラストレーターを集めた仮想書店です。ファンタジーでありながらも西洋的ではない、日本独自の無国籍感を持つイラストにここでは出会うことができます。
*キービジュアル作家：ホノジロトヲジ
2015 年よりフリーのイラストレーターとして活動中。2016 年「思春期」、「雨の森」のPN を改名し現在の名前に統一。
キャラクターデザイン、イラスト、漫画などを手がける。
弊社ではすでに日本・台湾以外の地域でも広く上記イラストレーターの書籍の販売を行っておりますが、
今回のフェアをきっかけにより広く皆様に日本が誇る最先端のイラストレーションを知っていただけるよう願っています。
フェア開催記念
魅力ある文化・優れたクリエイターの作品を世界に発信していきたいという想いから、台湾の誠品書店 信義店と作家のみなさんのご協力により実現した今回のフェアですが、残念ながら新型コロナウィルスの影響で日本では台湾に赴くどころか、自宅からの外出さえ難しい状況です。
そういった中でも、日本や世界の皆様に少しでもフェアのコンセプトを体感し、楽しんでいただけるよう、4つのテーマを代表するキービジュアルを使用したWeb会議用背景画像をご用意いたしました。

Japanese Cutting-edge Illustrators Fair
First landing to eslite Xinyi Store in Taiwan！
The “Japanese Cutting-edge Illustrators” fair was held in Tokyo, last year in September, to commemorate the opening of eslite spectrum Nihonbashi, a bookstore that aims to fuse Japanese and Taiwanese culture. This fair, which introduced the latest Japanese illustrators who are essential for Japanese design culture, will make its debut in Taiwan eslite Xinyi store. The fair will be held from June 2nd 2020 to June 30th 2020.
This time, we categorized the illustrators into four themes: “Mainstream”, “New Generation”, “Leading Figures”, and “One and Only” and set up four virtual bookstores of each category.
Visitors will be able to experience Japanese illustration culture through each of these features, and will be able to buy not only books but also original stationery. Enjoy these four PIE International virtual bookstores opening for a limited time at eslite Xinyi store in Taiwan.
Four virtual bookstores operated by PIE International
Mainstream: Frontiers of Animation, Manga, and Games
This virtual bookstore gathers together the work of illustrators who contributed to Japan’s renowned manga, anime and gaming industry. You can check the art books of manga artists and material books of animations to learn about the latest trends in Japanese illustration.
Ilya Kubshinov is an illustrator from Russia based in Japan. In 2016, Ilya released the first art book, “MOMENTARY” (PIE International). Since 2017, Ilya has participated in the Japanese animation industry and has been in charge of character design for the movies “Birthday Wonderland” and animation series “Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045”.
New Generation: Rising Stars of Social Media
This virtual bookstore showcases the work of illustrators who are active mainly in social media and who are supported mainly by the younger generation. Here, you can meet new talent that will drive Japanese illustration into the future.
Born in 1994 in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, Daisuke Richard is an illustrator and designer who likes underwear, music, curry, cod roe eggs, ice cocoa, and melon soda. Active in Tokyo, while missing home in Shiga, DaisukeRichard produces books and merchandise collaborations with companies and other artists.
Leading Figures: The Origins of Japanese Illustration
This virtual bookstore collects the work of artists who have been active as creators for decades and continue to influence younger generation of illustrators. Discover the origin of Japanese illustration here.
*Key Visual Illustrator: Katsuya Terada
Katsuya Terada works in a wide range of activities, including illustrations, manga, and character design for games and animation. He is also the author of Saiyu Kiden Daisaruou (Shueisha), Katsuya Terada TEN (PIE International), among others.
One and Only: The Fantasy World
This virtual bookstore presents new illustrators with an overwhelmingly original worldview. Here you can find Japan’s unique illustrations of fantasy worlds whose dreamlike atmosphere situate them not in any real place or country, but solely in the world of the imagination.
* Key Visual Illustrator: honojiro towoji
Active as a freelance illustrator since 2015, the artist’s pen names “shishunki” and “amenomori” were unified under the current name of honojiro towoji in 2016. honojiro towoji is active in character design, illustration, and manga.
PIE International distributes beautiful and high quality books to many regions other than Japan and Taiwan. We hope that this fair will be a good opportunity to tell more about the infinite charm that illustration has.
Commemorative Privilege
PIE International always desired to be “a bridge between fascinating culture and outstanding creators and the world.”
This fair is realized with the cooperation of eslite Xinyi store and illustrators who sympathized with this desire. But unfortunately, due to the influence of the COVID-19, it is difficult for us to visit Taiwan, or even go out from our home.
Therefore we created virtual backgrounds for web conferences using four key visuals representing this fair so that everyone in Japan and the world can experience and enjoy the concept of the fair as much as possible.

能夠欣賞最前端日本插畫文化的展會『台灣人認識日本插畫家的第一步』，將首次登陸台灣誠品書店信義店!
主題是融合日本文化與台灣文化的誠品生活日本橋店，在2019年9月舉辦了展會『台灣人認識日本插畫家的第一步』。
而這個展會將在2020年6月2日（星期二）至6月30日（星期二）這段期間，首次登陸台灣誠品書店信義店。
本次展會，我們對活躍在日本插畫界最前綫的插畫家劃分成四個主題，分別是『百花繚亂』、『新進氣銳』、『萬世不滅』、『唯一無二』，並以這四個主題開設四家假想書店。
在信義店内將會按照這四個主題出售插畫家的圖書、周邊產品等，從各家假想書店的不同特色中，體驗日本的插畫文化。

百花繚亂——漫畫、動畫、游戲的最前綫
這家假想書店裏，集合了日本引以爲傲的漫畫、動畫和游戲行業中的插畫家們。從漫畫家或者動畫師的畫集，到動畫的設定資料集等，在這裏，你可以瞭解到日本最新的插畫潮流。

萬世不滅——日本插畫的源流
集結在這家假想書店的，是幾十年閒持續以創作者的身份活躍，不斷影響年輕一輩插畫家們的畫家。在這裏，你可以瞭解到日本插畫的源流。

展會開展紀念
爲了向世界展示魅力的文化和優秀的創作者們的作品而舉辦的本次展會，是由台灣誠品書店信義店和作者們的鼎力協助而得以實現的。遺憾的是，由於受到新冠肺炎的影響，不要説從日本來到台灣，連從自家出門也十分困難。
但即便是在這種環境下，還是想令日本乃至全世界的人，都能體驗得到本次展會的概念並樂在其中，爲此，我們以這四個主題的主視覺製作了網路會議用的背景圖。
