Fumiko Takeshita: Graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University, Faculty of Education. She won the Robonoishi Juvenile Literature Award for her “Kuro-Neko Sangorou” series (Kaiseisha). Major picture books for which she has written include “Namae no Nai Neko” (Komine Shoten), “Nee, Dakkoshite” (Kinnohoshi-sha), “Nandemo Motteru-san” (Akane Shobo), and “Genki ni nattayo Korisu no Rikki” (Kaisei-sha).
Shimano Shizuku: Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a major in Japanese painting. Her books include “Onakano nakade” and “Uzura kaasan to tamago” (both published by Kyoiku Gageki).
