Following one of our bestsellers, “The Traditional Colors of Japan,” this book is a sister book focusing on “French” colors. Grouped by color tone such as red, blue, green, yellow, brown, gold, silver and such, this title shows about 250 colors, each of which has something to do with the French tradition, fashion, art and culture. For example; Moulin rouge Red, Provence yellow, Absinthe green, Maijorelle blue, Saint Laurent pink, and etc. Accompanied by the related photography, each color is presented with the text describing in which occasion each color was initially produced by which and how it is used today.
