【Artist Profile】
Born in 1932 and died in 2000, Hiroshi Manabe was a Japanese illustrator, animation artist, essayist, and artist. In addition to working as a book and magazine cover designer and writer, Manabe also illustrated many science fiction novels. He was also one of the first artists to experiment with multimedia projects, blending animation, music, and theater.
